A bittersweet defeat

Clearing up cobwebs of this blog by showing the cover for the last month's 10 page comic. During the one month break, I took off getting new ideas for my next story. There wasn't much to show other than mild sketches and drafts. 

It has been a rather... uptight month as well.. the busiest month to work with constant deadlines suddenly rushed, forcing us to pull unpaid overtime and whatnot so constant that I barely have energy to do anything else anymore. For those who could actually still work on your comics regardless of what pressure put on you, I salute you. I'm doing my best to keep my endurance because nothing else matters than giving spare time to work on my own things.

But enough rambling, finally a cover for the page. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that I changed the title from "SWARA SAKA" to "Suvarnabumi - The Custodian".

Even so, original plan was to print these for sale by next week but I have been asking around but unable to find anyone who could help me share a booth in next month's Comic Art Festival. Those who I asked end up not able to go there anyway because of life problems so FISSION MAILED.

The reason I ask for it because I myself, would be absent during the Comic Art Festival, sadly due to certain unavoidable problems of my own.

But since this 10 page comic is problematic on its own, with its hurtful cliffhanger ending as a 10 page comic.. I'm guessing it's some sort of blessing for not showing it? or perhaps a bane since I am unable to participate local comic cons consistently for exposure as I should.

Oh well, at least there's still Comic Fiesta by the end of the year again so all is not lost. Hoping to work some 30-50 pages by then, hopefully more but trying to keep it realistic because working stuff like these with a full time job can be bit harrowing.

EVEN SO, all or nothing or die trying, right?
